GPSinator app for iPhone and iPad

GPSinator is an app designed to log gps coordinates and email the data and a map to yourself or others.

Set the distance filter so logging will give you data that is farther apart or closer together.

Press Start to start logging. Press Stop to stop logging.

Press Clear to clear the log, if necessary.

Press eMail when you want to mail a map and the data to someone or yourself.

GPSinator will not sleep while it is running in the foreground, so your logging will not be interrupted.

GPSinator will now run fine in the background. Local notifications will remind you that continued use of GPS running in background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Optionally you can have, a red bar in the top, or a sound every 15 seconds, when GPSinator is running in the background. Use this red bar, when the screen is unlocked, to bring GPSinator forward.

If there are more than 90 readings, map and charts will use sampling.

3) There is a choice of an optional red banner at the top to remind you that GPS is running(on the lock screen, too). This also functions as a quick way to bring the app back forward, too.
4) There is a choice of an optional sound to play every 15 seconds while in the background.(a good reminder, but also can help pace any movements)
